GLAAD found that queer visibility declined by 33% on cable and 13% on streaming services in 2020, at a time when stories with diverse characters are more important than ever.

 

As a new wave of activism erupts in support of those in the community still struggling for rights, many aren’t fully aware of what came before – the plight for equality, the devastation of the AIDS crisis and the work people like Art and Pep have done to demand change, instill pride and create greater visibility.
